Installation night for "We Play Endlessly" @ Epoch

Woo hoo! We just finished installing the artworks for We Play Endlessly! Looks AMAZING - fits the space perfectly - the colour, the theme, the playfulness... =) Am very excited about the opening tonight!

Art in Taipei

Went to Taipei for the weekend - mainly for eating, drinking and shopping, but as I walked around town, there were many pleasant (artsy) surprises. We definitely need more of that in Hong Kong, they really do spice things up - make the city a lot livelier!

Asia Top Gallery Hotel Art Fair HK 2010

Went to this hotel art fair on Sunday at the Grand Hyatt - an art fair that has a similar concept to ours - it brings art out of the gallery space and showcases art works in an unconventional venue - in hotel rooms: on beds, bathtubs, hung on windows. It's an interesting concept and certainly attracted quite a lot of people - sales seemed to have done well too (saw a lot of red dots on the price list) and prices are affordable.

A bit of background knowledge: the Asia Top Gallery Hotel Art Fair (AHAF they call it) was first held in 2008 in the New Otani Hotel in Tokyo and the second one was held in 2009 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul. And this year, they have moved to Hong Kong and the Grand Hyatt in Wan Chai was the host to this event.

Maybe next year, MobArt can participate in this hotel art fair too! =)

Oh, gotta mention this: our office opening party/show was a blast - thank you all for your support! =) Think we had over 100 people at the event! Have uploaded photos on our facebook page - check them out!
